I’m a chilled and creative wedding photographer with a passion for creating beautifully authentic wedding images with flare.
My job is to tell the story of your day and to do that I let your day unfold in a natural way without much intervention to help me capture those magical memories to be looked back on for years.
I understand that you want amazing wedding photos but I also know you want to relax, feel comfortable and enjoy your day.
Life is all about making memories, having incredible experiences and having a laugh, that's pretty much how I navigate this world. As a result, I want my images to reflect this, images full of emotion that you and your loved ones can cherish for years to come. I want your day to be just as incredible as you imagine and for my images to encapsulate everything you felt on the day.
I'm a laid-back guy with an upbeat, positive approach to everything. Someone whom you can have a laugh with, more of a friend than a photographer (sounds cringey I know but it's just what past couples have said). That makes it easier for you to let your guard down, forget about the camera and worry about the more important aspects of the day (creating unforgettable memories and having a bloody good time!). Being a part of your day I want it to be as epic as you imagine if not more.
My work looks the way it does with everyone relaxed because I don't mind being a part of the wedding, getting involved, chatting to guests and joining in with the party, but at the same time understand some moments just need a bit of calm and stillness. My balance between breathing space and having a good laugh with everyone is what gives your guests confidence to enjoy being in front of the camera and allow their personalities to shine bright within the images.
For me, this isn't just about taking beautiful images. It is about curating a visual story of your day, the emotions felt and every meaningful moment that will forever be a lasting memory. We booked Michael as our wedding photographer and he was AMAZING! He made Kyle and I feel so comfortable on the day. Michael has a really good energy, he’s kind, & very easy to work with, it felt as if we’d known him for years! All of the guests commented on how lovely he was and how efficient he was at getting group photos. We’ve had a sneak peak of a few photos and we love them so much, I can not wait to see the rest! My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Michael during our wedding weekend.
He was amazing from start to finish and the photographs are nothing short of show stopping!
The amount of people who have commented on the photos saying ‘they are the best wedding photos I’ve ever seen’ is truly remarkable.
As well as amazing photography skills, he was an absolute pleasure to be around and genuinely such a nice guy. Calm, laid back and able to blend into the background but also forthcoming with guests and ideas when needed. Our guests also commented on the fact he had a ‘get in and get out’ approach with photos and didn’t make people stand around for ages and ages meaning everyone could thoroughly enjoy their weekend.

We were lucky enough to book Michael following a cancellation. From initial meeting to the final delivery of an obscene amount of amazing photos, Michael was incredible. He exceeded our expectations and more and has gave us the best gift of memories capitulated in stunning photos which we will treasure forever!
MIchael seems to have this chameleon like talent to blend into his surroundings (slotted in perfectly with the gals getting glam in the morning ;)) but was equally as great in shepherding the wedding party when required - which at times could be a task similar to herding cats!

We are SO grateful to Michael for the way he captured our wedding day. We eloped in a castle that was undergoing restoration - so by no means a finished, shiny, well polished venue - yet the memories he produced were so atmospheric.
We had some fun ideas for different shots we would like in the castle, as well as out side, and he came at it with a great sense of adventure (even when it came to driving down unmade roads, climbing over barbed wire fences, standing in the pouring rain and 20mph wind on a scottish hillside)
He not only captured the sentiment of our day but he made it so much fun. We have so many happy memories thanks to the entire experience around taking pictures of our day.
He has such an amazing eye for an incredible picture (as you would hope!), but also is very helpful with general wedding day tips that meant the day rain smoothly too.

Michael was absolutely fantastic for our wedding day. My wife and I both hate having our pictures taken but it didn’t even feel like we were having them taken, it just felt like we were having a laugh with a mate who happened to be holding a camera. We have had a selection of our photos come through already and I cannot describe how spectacular they are.
As we had a lot of activities at the wedding Michael started earlier and finished later than usual which I think just goes to show that he is determined to capture everything that you want remembering as opposed to ‘just enough’.

Michael did our wedding in March & we have just received the photos & they are amazing! When we first booked him, we had a video call where we talked about everything we wanted & he absolutely delivered. I wasn’t hugely looking forward to having photos taken but he made it so comfortable. He was so easy to have around & lots of people commented that you barely noticed him taking photos.
We went for the package upgrade so we got a preview of some photos the night of the wedding & even a framed one as we had our dinner!
11/10 would recommend. If you are thinking of booking him for your wedding, do it!
